Humans of the Pro-Life Movement
Humans of the Pro-life Movement is a series that was started to promote a sense of unity and community among pro-lifers. Each week a different person is interviewed and their story along with their picture is posted. Our hope for this project is that it promotes a sense of solidarity and hope among pro-lifers by showing that they are not alone in this fight.

“I am pro-life because I believe in the unique power of women. Abortion does not empower women, but hurts and degrades them. I am pro-life because I have seen the effects that abortion has on not only the women who tossed the child but also her friends and family. Like many of my generation, I grew up being 'pro-life.' I knew that abortion was wrong and that it ends an innocent human life. But I didn't want to make waves. I didn't want to take a public stand against abortion. Then I visited Auschwitz three summers ago. At Auschwitz, I saw the gas chambers were 1.5 million passed from this world to the next. Toddlers, holding their mothers' hands. Grandfathers leaning on their son's shoulders...Read more of Bethany's story on our Facebook page!

I grew up in a Christian home, so naturally, the pro-life mentality was always around. However, as a child I didn't really understand that it was about more than just donating to the pregnancy care center. Full comprehension set in when I began to research for a pro-life speech in early 2015. As I dove into the stories and statistics, my eyes were opened to what was actually going on...Read more of Karli's story on our Facebook page!
